        Abstract
Stop teaching kids pronouns! The current backlash against efforts to make language more gender-fair gives rise to strong, sometimes absurd, demands. This collection provides cutting-edge linguistic research on gender bias and gender fairness in a variety of fields and languages, from pragmatics to psycholinguistics, from German to Georgian, and thereby helps to dispel some of the myths surrounding the discourse on gender and language.
