oapen.abstract.otherlanguageFilmerotik ist mehr als die Repräsentation von Sexualität im Gewand der Kulturindustrie – sie entfaltet eine eigene politische Ästhetik. Hannah Peuker untersucht diese erstmals systematisch durch die Verschränkung von Filmwissenschaft, Philosophie und Ästhetischer Theorie: als Körpertechnik zwischen Begehren und Zensur, als sinnliche Montage, als Erfahrungsstruktur jenseits der Pornographie. Der Band zeigt anhand eines transnationalen Vergleichs von Erotikfilmen der 1970er-Jahre – von der brasilianischen Pornochanchada über den japanischen Pinku eiga bis zur italienischen Commedia sexy –, wie sich gesellschaftliche Konflikte, autoritäre Regime und politische Umbrüche in filmisches Begehren einschreiben.
