        Abstract
        Imperien sind aus postkolonialer Sicht in der soziologischen Theorie und historischen Soziologie hinsichtlich ihrer Bedeutung für die Geschichte der Gesellschaften und der globalen Moderne häufig vergessen worden. Diese Leerstelle füllt Ralf Rapiors Studie, indem sie die Begriffs- und Strukturgeschichte von Imperium soziologisch rekonstruiert. Sie konzipiert die Herausbildung der westlichen Moderne als Konsequenz des europäischen Imperialismus und schlägt eine soziologische Theorie weiter vor, die Imperien als eine widerstandsfähige Form der Herrschaft und Vergesellschaftung begreift. Daher wird die liberale Erzählung in Frage gestellt, dass das Zeitalter des Imperialismus nach 1945 überwunden worden sei. CC-Lizenz CC-BY

        Export search results

        The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Differen formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

        A logged-in user can export up to 15000 items. If you're not logged in, you can export no more than 500 items.
