dc.description.abstractThe aim of this work is to develop and validate a model for describing the braking behavior of passenger car tires at the boundary between wet grip and hydroplaning. The model is validated on the basis of braking tests carried out on an inner drum test bench with different tire profiles, water depths and driving speeds.
