dc.description.abstract	The edited volume contains seven school manuals on logic composed in Classical Syriac between the 6th and 9th centuries. These texts offer rare insight into the evolution of education during the crucial transition from the ancient to the medieval world, demonstrating how Greek philosophical tools were systematically transformed into instruments of Christian learning.
