This research study on the exercise of prostitution was conducted at the TU Berlin and focussed on a specific form of prostitution. These were "mistresses" or "sklavias" offering a special service to sadomasochistic-assessed men. The investigation resulted from the consideration of the concept of autogenesis by Prof. Dr. Gerd Jüttemann (1999), following the thesis that the person is seeking essentially for self-determined behavior. With eight biographical interviews, a comparison was made between mistresses appearing in the prostitution situation very self-determined and Sklavias subject in this situation of extreme foreign control. The research question related to how self- and foreign control continue mirror in other areas of life of these women. In einer Untersuchung an der TU Berlin wurde eine spezielle Ausübungsform der Prostitution näher untersucht. Es handelte sich dabei um Dominas bzw. Sklavias, die ein spezielles Dienstleistungsangebot für sadomasochistisch veranlagte Männer bereit halten. Die Untersuchung erfolgte unter dem Gesichtspunkt des Autogenesekonzepts von Jüttemann (1999), Danach strebt der Mensch im wesentlichen nach selbstbestimmten Verhalten. Anhand acht biografischer Interviews wurde ein Vergleich vorgenommen zw. Dominas, die in der Prostitutionssituation sehr selbstbestimmt auftreten und Sklavias, die in dieser Situation extremer Fremdbestimmung unterliegen. Die Forschungsfrage bezog sich darauf, wie sich Selbst- und Fremdbestimmung durch die anderen Lebensbereiche der Frauen fortführen.
