oapen.abstract.otherlanguageThe contribution takes into consideration the experience made by the Olivetti during the guidance by Adriano Olivetti in 1940/ 50 with specific reference to the work organization, based on human principles, people, collaboration, participation, permanent learning community culturally based, innovation led. A possible example to all work organisations. Adriano Olivetti introduced Taylor Fordism into his factories in the 1930s, mitigating it, humanizing it and ensuring dignity, high wages, distinguished welfare. Adriano Olivetti also developed a very strong culture of innovation for executives, middle managers and technicians, which created that "treasure chest of skills" which allowed the company, after his death in the 70s, to survive to the obsolescence of its mechanical base and to reorganize itself through production islands and to reskill the factory workers.
