oapen.abstract.otherlanguageDas Lesenlernen im Nationalsozialismus wird aufgrund einer vordergründig stilisierten Fibel-Idylle des »unschuldigen Kindes« gemeinhin in der Bedeutung für die »völkische Erziehung« unterschätzt. Die Rekonstruktion des komplexen kontextuellen Bedingungszusammenhangs der Fibel-Gestaltung und -Produktion im »Dritten Reich« zeigt, dass dem Lesenlernen eine wesentliche Funktion bei der ideologischen Formierung des »deutschen Kindes« zukam. Diese folgte konzeptionell dem Prinzip der kindgemäßen Vermittlung einer fraglosen Anerkennung der »Volksgemeinschaft« als positiv erlebbare Zugehörigkeitsordnung, verbunden mit der Vorbereitung und Anbahnung gewaltförmigen Handelns.
