        Zur Legitimität der Ästhetisch-Plastischen Chirurgie

        Abstract
        Die Ästhetisch-Plastische Chirurgie verzeichnet stetig steigende Eingriffszahlen und polarisiert hinsichtlich ihrer Intentionen und Effekte wie kaum eine andere Fachdisziplin. Julia Wustmanns wissenssoziologische Studie rekonstruiert die Verhandlung zur Legitimität der Ästhetisch-Plastischen Chirurgie als medizinischer Profession und verschränkt dafür die Perspektive von Alltagsakteur*innen mit der von ästhetisch-plastischen Chirurg*innen. In der Zusammenführung von gesellschaftlichen Betrachtungsweisen und medizinprofessionellen Eigenverständnissen wird die Ambivalenz der Fachdisziplin deutlich, die sich auf die Gleichzeitigkeit von legitimierenden und diskreditierenden Mustern zurückführen lässt.

        Export search results

        A logged-in user can export up to 15000 items. If you're not logged in, you can export no more than 500 items.
